Kashiba City Nijyosan Museum
This museum specializes in stone and the Paleolithic period (the Old Stone Age). The eruption of Mount Nijo more than 10 million years ago generated rocks like sanukite, tuff, and emery. You can see these rocks up close and sense the wonder of nature. Tuff was used to make the stone pagoda at sutra mound #27.
