Kuboso Memorial Museum of Arts, Izumi

The museum’s collection covers 11,000 pieces of art, centered on Oriental antiquities—paintings, calligraphy, and craftwork from primarily Japan and China. The collection includes two National Treasures and 29 Important Cultural Properties. It also features about 6,000 ukiyo-e prints, which are highly popular. Works include landscapes by Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige, and warrior prints by Utagawa Kuniyoshi.
