Katakami Soy Sauce
Founded in 1931, this venerable shoyu (soy sauce) brewery still makes its products the traditional way, naturally brewing soy sauce by fermenting and aging Nara-grown soybeans in cedar barrels. Choose from a wide range of soy sauces: besides the most popular koikuchi (dark), there’s also usukuchi (light), and tamari (rich), as well as the rare aodaizu (green soybean) soy sauce. Choose the ones you like and match them with different foods.
