Ushitaki Onsen Shikimatsuri
This onsen (hot-spring) facility in a natural setting is a great place to immerse in any season. There are two kinds of spring-water baths; the water of one of them—the open-air Ushitaki Onsen—makes the skin silky smooth and helps it retain moisture. You can stay overnight, or just come to enjoy one of the many other offerings, such as fresh seasonal ingredients in a kaiseki (traditional Japanese multi-course) meal.
